About

I look forward to meeting you.

I am passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families to feel connected, empowered, confident, and fulfilled. Through a holistic lens, I support clients to learn more about themselves, create more fulfilling relationships, and live more authentically.

I have worked in education and counseling for over thirty years. I understand how early childhood attachment, relationship experiences, family dynamics, and education can influence one’s life satisfaction and overall well-being. Through my experience, I have learned the importance of considering all aspects of a person, including their cultural backgrounds, traditions, and language(s) spoken. It is through this integrative and culturally sensitive lens I am able to understand each client, their symptomatology, and their unique circumstances.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Saint Mary’s College of California, specializing in children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have clinical experience working with diverse populations of individuals in various stages of life transitions and difficulties. I employ a multicultural and social justice lens, and I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.

I also hold a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. I worked as a preschool teacher, elementary school teacher, and principal before becoming a therapist, which has given me extensive experience in child and adolescent development, parenting concerns, and the education system.
